Hello!
I’m Jorge Msanz. My journey in photography began many years ago when I picked up the first film cameras that children would leave behind. Before long, I had my own. It became my window to the world, where I could capture life through a viewfinder. In those early days, my subjects were simple. Family trips, landscapes, and portraits.
Everything changed in 2004 during a year-long stay in Lisbon. There, I bought my first analog Nikon and immersed myself in black and white photography. I documented the city I still cherish today. What started as capturing its streets soon evolved into capturing daily life and, ultimately, the essence of its people. The pursuit of emotion and the perfect moment frozen in time became irresistible.
The following year, I moved to Buenos Aires on a university scholarship to complete my final project in agricultural engineering. That experience shaped me profoundly. I spent another year exploring this extraordinary city. From there, I embarked on new journeys; traveling through Argentina’s provinces and countries like Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Brazil. During these travels, my passion for portrait photography became unbreakable. I honed my skills in fashion, advertising, and portrait photography. Gradually, I integrated these influences into wedding and social photography. Continuous training with top professionals and a deep appreciation for visual art further refined my craft.
After nearly 20 years devoted to photography and discovering the world, both have become inseparable from my daily life. They are part of who I am.
The Msanz Team
Msanz began with a focus on fashion photography. Pedro and I met at fashion events. Soon after, I founded my own studio with a vision. I wanted to redefine wedding photography by blending aesthetics and editorial elegance with the raw emotions of social events. Later, Pedro joined the team. He shared the same vision and commitment. We aim to create an exceptional experience for our clients; transforming their most important moments into timeless, emotional, and beautifully composed memories.
We document weddings across the globe. Our clients have invited us to capture their special days in New York, Havana, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, and numerous cities across Spain. No matter where your wedding takes place, we can be there.

Hola! Soy Msanz, Jorge! Mis comienzos nacen hace muchos años con las primeras «cámaras de carrete» que a todos los niños nos dejaban. Pronto tuve una para mostrar «mi mundo» detrás de un visor. En aquellos tiempos eran fotos de retrato y paisajes de los viajes familiares.
No es hasta 2004, en mi estancia por un año en Lisboa, cuando me decido a comprar mi primera Nikon analógica para plasmar, en blanco y negro sobre todo, esa magnifica ciudad a la que hoy aún amo. De fotografiar sus calles a fotografiar lo cotidiano y de ahí, a sus gentes. Captar emociones se hace algo irresistible, la búsqueda del instante en la cual quede perfectamente reflejada.
Un año más tarde viajo a Buenos Aires con una beca universitaria para terminar mi proyecto final de carrera de ingeniería agrónoma. Tras residir en esta espectacular ciudad un año más y de aquí, emprender nuevos rumbos, no sólo por provincias argentinas sino que también por países como Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru o Brasil…se establece un vínculo inseparable en la fotografía de retrato hasta la actualidad. Comienzo a formarme técnicamente acerca del arte de la fotografía del retrato, fotografía de moda y publicitaria. Toda esta influencia se traslada a la fotografía social de bodas, familia y parejas sin dejar de lado la formación con los mejores profesionales del sector y la cultura visual del arte en general.
Tras casi 20 años incidiendo cada esfuerzo en lo mismo, la fotografía y conocer mundo se tornan imprescindibles en mi día a día y forman parte de mi yo personal.
El equipo Msanz comenzó su andadura en la fotografía de moda. Pedro y Jorge se conocieron en eventos de moda y ,poco después, Jorge fundó su propio negocio, buscando redefinir la fotografía de bodas de la época, aportando un toque más estético y editorial a la naturalidad y emociones que generaban los eventos sociales. Más tarde, Pedro se unió al equipo con la misma visión y los mismos objetivos: obtener la mejor experiencia para el cliente y transformar su día en un recuerdo tan emotivo como estético y atemporal.
Realizamos Bodas en cualquier parte del mundo, nuestros clientes ya nos han contratado para New York, Habana, Irlanda, Italia, Marruecos, Suiza, Francia, Países Bajos, Portugal y multitud de ciudades españolas… así que si os gusta nuestro trabajo, no tenemos límites. Donde quiera que sea vuestro día, nosotros podemos estar.
